- Drink 6-8 cups of water a day, this will help to keep hunger down and reduce water weight. Depending on how active you are you may need more or less
- Try to stay under 1,000kcals a day. Doing that ensures weight loss
- If at a plateau raide kcal count up to 1,000 or 1,200. Doing that boosts metabolism
- Drink green tea daily. Helps with energy and burning fat!
- STAY AWAY FROM STARCHY VEGGIES!!!!
- If fasting drink lots of water, not to much but a bit more than usual to keep from eating
- Make exercise your BFF, it’ll help in the long run!
- Eat lots of veggies and fruit
- Try not to eat lots of junk food, but if your blood sugar is low trying eating something sweet to help
- Try getting 10k steps in everyday!
D’bunking weight loss myths and misconceptions
1. Laxatives help with weight loss
Well in a way yes, if get rid of the food you ate a lot faster but once it’s taken affect you absorbed all the kcals already, so unless you binged and need to get rid of the food faster it isnt going to help. The kcals are already in you
2. Force vomiting get rid of all the kcals I ate
No, it doesnt. You still absorbed half of the kcals, purging only get rid of half o them even if all of it comes up. Yes, if helps somewhat but not all of it is out. I’d say the most effective outing method is excessive exercise
3. Eating 1,500kcals will make me gain
No it wont. To be honest a normal person eats more than that daily and maintains weight. Eating that much doesnt ensure weight loss but you wont gain, love dont worry!
